Political Science and International Relations Bachelor's Degree Program

1) Can explain the fundamental concepts of the disciplines of Political Science and International Relations and interpret current events within the framework of these concepts.

2) Acquire theoretical and empirical knowledge in the core sub-disciplines of Political Science, including but not limited to Comparative Politics, Political Theory, and Turkish Politics, and can use this knowledge to explain and interpret of political processes.

3) Acquire theoretical and empirical knowledge in the core sub-disciplines of International Relations, such as International Politics, Political History, International Law, International Security, International Political Economy, and Foreign Policy Analysis, and can use this knowledge to explain and interpret global issues.

4) Gain foundational knowledge of Social Science methodologies and can conduct empirical analyses of political phenomena and processes using qualitative and quantitative research methods, technical tools, and in accordance with scientific ethics.

5) Can establish connections between their discipline and other Social Sciences such as Law, Economics, and Sociology, enabling interdisciplinary analyses.

6) Develop the ability to analyze various national and international political issues by acquiring theoretical and empirical knowledge focused on specific subfields or regions within the discipline.

7) Develop an awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and can critically analyze SDG-related topics.

8) Can design and implement entrepreneurial strategies and processes that align with their objectives to bring their ideas and projects to life.

9) Can produce knowledge-based critical thinking by utilizing their field-specific expertise and possess the ability to work independently as well as take responsibility and function effectively within a team.

10) Can effectively use verbal, written, and visual communication methods.

11) Acquire academic English proficiency at a level that enables them to produce and disseminate knowledge in their field.
