This course is a continuation of UGI 494R/A/C course. Learn about regional studies, business world, geography and cultural values in Russia.

This course will help students conduct business interviews and phone calls using advanced language. Develop professional presentation and self-presentation skills. Practice business writing skills (emails, formal requests, commercial offers).
1. Students can speak in front of an audience and talk about their company.
2. Students can meet with customers by phone or correspondence.
3. Students can analyze Russian business culture and international experience.
Week 1: Level exam is held.
Week 2: Introduction to the course. Basics of business communication.
Week 3: Forms and ethics of business communication in Russia.
Week 4: Introducing yourself and your company.
Week 5: Telephone conversations.
Week 6: Business correspondence: basic principles.
Week 7: Basic rules for preparing a presentation.
Week 8: Speaking in front of an audience.
Week 9: Conducting business meetings and negotiations.
Week 10: Communication with customers: greeting, offering, selling.
Week 11: Russia's business culture and international experience.
Week 12: Final exam
