Course Description
In the International Corporate Finance course, the financial management of companies operating in the global market is examined in detail. Topics such as exchange rates, international investment decisions, financial risk management, financial strategies of multinational corporations, and opportunities in global capital markets are individually addressed.
As a result, students in this course learn to understand how international trade and financial flows affect corporate operational decisions and to make effective financial decisions on a global scale.

Course Objectives
This course aims to analyze the financial management processes of multinational companies and the financial dynamics in the global market.
Students will work on topics such as exchange rates, international investment decisions, financial risk management, and opportunities in global capital markets, gaining the ability to make effective financial decisions on a global scale. Additionally, the effects of international trade and financial flows on corporate operational strategies will be evaluated.
Course Outcomes
1. Understand International Financial Crises and Their Effects, the causes and consequences of global financial crises, and their impact on multinational corporations.
2. Comprehend International Financial Markets and Institutions, including the structure and functioning of global financial markets.
3. Understand International Investment Decisions and Capital Structure, including multinational corporations' investment strategies, capital structuring for foreign investors, capital cost, and investment financing sources.
4. Analyze the financial statements of multinational corporations.
5. Gain knowledge of International Risk Management and Hedging Strategies, including foreign exchange risk management (hedging), interest rate risk, and other financial risks, as well as the use of derivative instruments and financial derivatives (futures, options, swaps).
