Course Description
Within the scope of the Entrepreneurship and Leadership course, topics such as Business Plan and Business Model, R&D, Commercialization of R&D, Lean Startup, New Product Development, and Design Thinking will be covered. In addition, experts in the field with entrepreneurial stories will be invited to the course to focus on success, failure, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Course Objectives
Within the scope of the Entrepreneurship section of this course, students will be provided with the fundamental knowledge required in the field of entrepreneurship. They will gain an understanding of concepts such as innovation, renewal, R&D, the commercialization processes of R&D, and lean startup. Additionally, they will develop skills in preparing business plans and business models, aiming to project their business ideas accordingly.
Within the Leadership section, the objective is to connect students taking this course with successful experts in the field under the UGİTALKS brand. This will allow students, who have acquired theoretical knowledge, to also listen to the entrepreneurship and success stories of the invited speakers and gain networking opportunities with them.
Course Outcomes
1. Learns fundamental knowledge about entrepreneurship, innovation, and R&D processes and can analyze commercialization processes.
2. Understands and applies business model and business plan preparation processes to design entrepreneurial projects.
3. Can integrate new product development and design thinking approaches into sustainable business ideas.
4. Can plan, implement, and execute projects.
5. Can develop teamwork and leadership competencies.
