Course Description
This course is designed to equip students with essential communication and interpersonal skills to excel in professional environments. Through three comprehensive modules—Effective Presentations, Effective Job Interviews, and Effective Meetings—students will develop the confidence and expertise needed to communicate effectively, present ideas persuasively, and navigate workplace interactions successfully.

Course Objectives
İNG 004 is intended to prepare students for the professional world. It contains three modules: Effective Presentations, Effective Job Interviews and Effective Meetings. By the end of the course, students will have honed their ability to articulate ideas clearly, build professional relationships, and make a strong impression in various workplace settings. Through hands-on activities, role-playing, and personalized feedback, they will be well-prepared to transition successfully into the professional world.

Week 1: Introduction to Course, Rules & Regulations, Introducing Yourself
Week 2: Introduction to Presentations, Making a Start, Making a Strong Start, Linking the Parts
Week 3: The Right Kind of Language, Body Language/Emphasize Your Point, Selecting the Topic/Plagiarism, Visual Aids
Week 4: Visual Aids, In class topic discussion, Finishing off, Question Time
Week 5: Putting it All Together, Bringing it Alive Assessed Presentations
Week 6: Assessed Presentations
Week 7: Job Interviews: Introduction, Video input, Dealing with questions
Week 8: Job Interviews: Phone Interviews, Pairwork Practice, Assessed Job Interviews
