Course Description
This course deals with the basic concepts of business financing and the interaction of financial management with other business functions. The basic principles of financial management include time value of money, working capital management, capital budgeting, financing resources, dividend policies and financial analysis issues. In addition, basic information about the financing decisions of companies and the functioning of financial markets and institutions is presented.

Course Objectives
To teach the basic concepts of business finance and the relationships of finance with other disciplines,
To explain the interaction between the financial management function and other business functions within the business and to provide information on how to reconcile it with daily life,
To provide information on evaluating business success from different aspects and to explain the path to success,
To provide perspective on interpreting the effects of environmental conditions affecting the business, both on each other and on the business,
To provide information on understanding the effects of investment, financial structure and dividend decisions that the finance manager is responsible for, on the maximization of the market value of the business,
To teach basic information and concepts on financial markets, financial institutions and investment techniques.
Course Outcomes
