Course Description
The aim of this course is to analyze the post-World War I conflicts in the Modern Middle East.
In doing so, the background of these conflicts and the reactions they produce will be discussed.
Films will be used in addition to basic readings.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to understand how the political phenomena of international relations are reflected in human lives and social relations.
Course Outcomes
1. Students will be able to analyze modern Middle Eastern conflicts through the lens of cinema.
2. Students will critically evaluate the historical, political, and social dynamics of the region through cinematic representations.
3. Students will interpret Middle Eastern cinema in the context of global politics and media discourses, contributing to academic discussions.
