Course Description
Foreign Policy Analysis course analyzes how states make decisions in the international arena, the factors affecting these processes, and different theoretical approaches. This course briefly examines how we can evaluate foreign policy. In this context, rational actor model, bureaucratic policy model
and the foreign policy making process is analyzed within the framework of alternative theories.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to analyze foreign policy from the perspective of different theories.
In addition, it is aimed to learn the models that they can analyze the foreign policy making process.
Course Outcomes
1. Students will learn the main theories and approaches of foreign policy analysis.
2. Students gains the ability to analyze foreign policy decision-making processes.
3. Students will be able to interpret foreign policy from different international relations perspectives.
4. Students will be able to apply methodological tools used in foreign policy analysis.
